Verified Reviewer |I was stranded in Vietnam, because of wrong information, and Japan airlines, not supporting healthcare workers
Due to my role is a Healthcare worker I was not able to use the departure portion of my flight to Vietnam so I had to buy another one-way ticket. I talk to the customer service rep at Japan Airlines and she told me I can use the return portion of my ticket.
So when it was time for me to leave Vietnam, I was told I couldnt use the return portion because I didnt use the departure portion. Even though I was told by a customer service rep that I could. I was then stranded and had to scramble to buy another ticket .
I was supposed to be back working taking care of sick people and my children were waiting for me and everything had to be cancelled not to mention customer service from the Japan Airlines managers at the airport was horrible. I was treated badly they were condescending and not helpful whatsoever , I was disgusted by the way I was treated .

I regret choosing JAL

Purchase Upgrading Class Ticket

Preferred solution: I just want to ask if I can pay additional money to upgrade my wife from coach to business class on the type of ticket she has. I have a business class ticket from Nagoya to San Francisco.

Layover questions
To whom to concern,
I paid my ticket over 4 months ago with layover I chose, but recently I knew that my layover the last flight from Chicago to St. Louis was changed too long, almost 10 hours.
I asked your company and my agent ticket, no one helped me with reason you (JAL and this agent) can not do because of your each other.
This layover is too long with my age (I am almost 59 years old) and I will go alone.
Could you please rearrange another trip on the way to come back to America even I import another state with the layover from 2-4 hours as I chose. Thank you.

P/S: I don't know how to rate JAL company but to connect to you,, I have to rate 3 stars to have a chance to have another trip on the way come back. I'm so sorry I can not rate 4 or 5 stars because I have not yet flown with JAL and my problem didn't solve.

Preferred solution: for them to ask LATAM to get their act straight.
User's recommendation: JAL was unable to solve the problem. It seems it was since LATAM did the reservation. JAL was very friendly and willing to help out. What I found is that there is no real direct link for check-in when you have a LATAM code share fight with JAL. It took forever for LATAM to figure out the reservation code in order for me to proceed with JAL. What have Learned: AVIOD PURCHASING A TICKET with JAL through LATAM's web.
